Photojournalist and retired journalism professor, Dr. Bob Byler has written
about jazz and taken photos and videos over many years.  He recently sent me
a listing of his holdings-massive is an apt description.  He wrote that he
had turned over a large amount of material to Chuck Haddix, jazz historian
in Kansas City--  UMKC.  Likely, many of you know Bob and have read his
articles in Mississippi Rag and American Rag or have seen him in action at
many jazz festivals.  If you have need of videos or photos of your favorite
