DJML listmate Marek Boym has just contacted me Off List to advice:

"I've  checked on All Music, and the LP in question contains twelve tracks, as compared to fifteen on the MM CD.  
It seems not to contain all the numbers...[because of the Barnard sides and]... hardly satisfies Tanya's interest in Gene Halen."

Before rushing in with the answer, I should have asked you which Carl Halen LP you were referring to.
In my eagerness to help, I had wrongly assumed there was only one. 
I should have checked, and just have.
There are three Halen' LPs using the Gin Bottle Seven tag.
Empirical EM 101(reissued as EM5-3) , Riverside RLP 12-231 and IAJRC 32.
The Music Makers CD I mentioned is apparently from a private tape and not from any of the above-mentioned LPs.
