Shelly Berg is currently the Dean of the Frost School of Music at the
University of Miami. Some of you may be familiar with his work as a
soloist and leader of his own trios, or as one the foremost jazz
educators in the world. You may not know that Shelly also has in
interest in older jazz styles. On Riverwalk Jazz he has performed solo
piano pieces by Duke Ellington and James P. Johnson.
