That's partly why I brought it up :^) Although maybe the origins of
bop don't fit on an OKOM list VBG
Anyway, I now hope to sit back and enjoy a great discussion from some
more knowledgeable than me.
I guess part of the answer is "the time was right". The boppers could
"stand on the shoulders of giants" of OKOM to invent something new.
