[Dixielandjazz] Happy Mardi Gras

Dear Listmates,

   Wanted to send along a Happy Mardi Gras wish to all of you.  We
joke here that everyplace else it's just another Tuesday, but here we
will be dancing and playing music in the streets, going to parties and
watching the many revelers that have filled New Orleans to capacity.
The city is packed, hotels sold out, so very different from Mardi Gras
2006.  We have come a long way and send out gratitude on this happy
day for all the people who have volunteered and helped New Orleans
since the Corps of Engineers flooded the city 6 years ago.
