Hi Beth,

It's all relative, but I don't know any Trad bands that play Howling Wolf's 
"Forty-Four". To me it's Chicago Blues, which used to be called Rhythm and 
Blues before the Popmeisters  took over the phrase to describe their present 
day popular music.

I don't call this music the Blues - I call it
 OKOM - dixieland - trad jazz - new orleans jazz, etc. I even spotted a
 banjo. But if they want to call it the Blues to get more listeners,
 that's fine with me :-)
