[Dixielandjazz] Red Hot Jazz Site

I've been trying to help Bill get the audio working on the Red Hot Jazz 
site.
I have access to a Mac so have been trying to work out what is going 
wrong.
I'm getting a bit stuck, so I'm hoping someone more experienced in Macs
has some ideas. Everyone else should turn away now.

So I have a Mac Mini running OS-X and it doesn't play the audio from 
RedHot Jazz.

I can navigate the site and download the audio files, I just can't play 
them,
So it's not a browser thing. It's the player.

I've tried VLC and that has a go, but stutters too badly to make it 
usable.

I've tried a thing called MPlayer, which is supposed to be a real audio
alternative. I can't make that work at all.

I've now succumbed and downloaded RealPlayer and that generates
a General Protection error. I've actually tried RealPlayer 12 (the latest)
11 & 10 and they all fail. Except they do work on other real audio from
other web sites. So there is something special about the audio
on the Red Hot site.

I'm running out of ideas now, so has anyone got anything I can try
