Since we are getting so far off topic:
For my traveling band (California Repercussions - sometimes OKOM, over
15 countries and 4 continents/large islands) the coffee and tea are
good to sample, get going in the morning, but the driving force is the
local brews, beer, wine, booze (or things in-between!)
We have sampled the best Schnapps in Vienna, vodka in the USSR &
Finland, Whisky and beer in Scotland, Sake and beer in Japan, Cachaça
and beer in Brazil, Oktoberfest beer in Munich, hard cider and beers
in England, Port in Lisbon, Becherovka and Pilsner in Prague, Tiki Rum
in Honolulu, Beer and another Beer in Oz, fine wine and beer in Spain,
and a few more I have probably forgotten after all these years.
As it ever was, a band travels on it's stomach!
And Beer.
