[Dixielandjazz] A Player That Trasfers Cassettes & LPs

I have a Tascam Porta-Studio cassette recorder that does the job great. Just
get a cable with 2 stereo RCA plugs on one end and a 1/8" stereo phono plug
on the other and plug it right into your computer and record it with
Audacity (free download).

I've got hundreds of cassettes from nice folks who have recorded the Golden
Gate Rhythm Machine from 1984 when we started almost to the present, and
have transferred lots of them this way.

If you want to save space and put up to 10 or 11 hours on one CD, you can
download another free plugin for Audacity that allows you to save (actually
Export) the files as MP3s.
