Thank you to everybody for your kind replies so far.
I've also got various early Armstrong's lead sheets with chords too (many,
but not all, i.e. "Beau Koo Jack", "Weather Bird" -but I've got
"Weatherbird Rag"-, "Symphonic Raps", "Savoyager's Stomp" and others are
still missin' in my collection). But I am mostly interested on
cornet/trumpet transcriptions with chords, if possible.
Also, I've bought recently some band charts from the "Simply Early Jazz" site
The site
http://www.themeister.co.uk/dixie/louis_armstrong.htm
is great for this too, but of course "the project" is not finished yet!
Does anybody knows if the book "The Young Louis Armstrong on Records: A
Critical Survey and Discography 1923-28" by Edward Brooks has any
transcriptions on it too or just has (wise) "words"?
All the best,
Francisco.
