[Dixielandjazz] LA Area Jazz Meet 1 2/4/11

Next Sunday (12/4/11) the Valley Jazz Club meets 1:00 to 5:00  PM   at the 
Elk's Lodge, 20917 Osborne, Canoga Park CA. for its gala  sponsored 
celebration of the holiday season.
 
The feature attractionat 2:30 PM this month, imported specially for this  
occassion is the Yosemite Jazz Band, from the area around the national  park; 
 Berl Howell, trumpet/vocals;  Ted Strauss, clarinet/tenor sax,  and 
vocals;  Larry Vaccaro, aka Curly, tuba;  Jeff Gurule,  banjo/guitar, vocals;  Pat 
"Chops" Mierkey, trombone / vocals;  Jim  Kirin, percussion and  James 
Mierkey, piano /vocals. 
 
Hot food and a full bar are available.  Admission $10, members $7,  
performing musicians and children under 12 free.
