In addition to the recordings mentioned by Bill and others, Gus Bivona
plays clarinet on "Bob Crosby and His Orchestra 1946 - Instrumentals
Never Before on Record," Onward to Yesterday OTY 1517 (an LP).

Cheers

Gus Bivona, Toby Scoville Browne, or Wade Whaley?  There are plenty of Handy recordings playing alto sax, but I can't find any on clarinet, though I know he began playing on that instrument.  I know that Wade Whaley played with Kid Ory for a time.  Bivona played with Bunny Berrigan, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, and Bob Crosby, but have not been able to locate any of their recordings with him as a sideman.  Thanks for any help you can give me.  I am also looking for a clarinet recording by Don Chesebro of Wisconsin.  He passed away this year, and though I heard him live several times, I have not been able to find any recordings.  John Fortier
