[Dixielandjazz] Fw: Henry 'Red' Allen with the Alex Welsh Band

This was not a concert as such, but one the BBC's "Jazz 625" series of 
programmes recorded June 1964, transmitted the following month. The band 
line up, in addition to Alex was, Roy Crimmins (tmb), Al Gay (reeds), Fred 
Hunt (p), Ron Matthewson (sb), Jim Douglas (g/bj) and Lennie Hastings (dms).

I don't recall Pee Wee Russell and Alex Welsh ever getting together but am 
prepared to be pleasantly surprised and proved wrong <g>
