[Dixielandjazz] Sidney Bechet, 14 May (1897-1959)

Dear Friends,
The 14th May was the anniversary of Sidney Bechet's birth (1897) and death (1959) dates.
Dying on a birthday is not all that common (Shakespeare?, Ernie Kovacs, Raphael, Ingrid Bergman, plus link below*).
As a young lad, I discovered that the English language has a word for it, but can't recall it
No surprise there, on both counts.

But what is the word?
Subsequent occasional enquiries over the years have not yet revealed it.
