Jack,

I know that is what Lord's discography says. However, the tunes on that album are the same ones that were on the Bandwagon 78s and Bandwagon 10-inch LP, which passed through my storefront a few years ago and had the personnel listed on the labels. The Bandwagon label was associated with a radio program in New Orleans. The full name of the label was New Orleans Bandwagon.

Lord also has the wrong number for the Imperial LP. I know because I own the LP, which has one side by the Dukes of Dixieland, with the tunes as shown in Lord for LP 3005, and one side by the Basin Street Six. It is Imperial LP 9086.

I also own several of the Okeh 78s. I love these early recordings by the Dukes because they swing like crazy and still retain that New Orleans sound as heard on so many wonderful Southland LPs in the 50s.
