Dear Bob and interested others,
An Afterword.
Unless someone turns up a pre-1937 map of New Orleans.

The following came from the Doctors Of Jazz (Richmond) site and appears to have come from John Chilton's fine book 'Stomp Off, Let's Go. The story of Bob Crosby's Bob Cats & Big Band'.
"South Rampart Street Parade". (Ray Bauduc and Bob Haggart) Recorded by Bob Crosby's Band in 1937. Bauduc, Crosby's drummer and a native of the Crescent City, originally entitled the piece “Bulls on Parade” after one of the more flamboyant black social clubs from New Orleans, but the head of Decca Records thought the title too esoteric for those outside the Crescent City.
