Hi: Since today is Mardi Gras, I thought this clip from the Sambadrome in Rio might be of interest.

 Can you imagine 85,000 people enjoying this spectacle?  It would be fun to witness this in person.

I would say that Samba and OKOM are connected and certainly Choro music is part of that relationship.

 Also, since some OKOM fans might object to the Samba (I don't!), I have also included a clip of Pete Fountain playing "While we danced at the Mardi Gras"
