Dear Richard,
My only Johnny Bastable records are those with Acker Bilk on clarinet and my dear Aussie mate Viv Carter on drums.
And Louis is in fine form on all his tunes with 'The Dukes'.
"Avalon" is no exception, notwithstanding the hash Louis makes of the lyrics.
