Dear Hal,
There is no trumpet solo on the later 23 January 1939 Decca version, only Fazola's clarinet solo.
Perhaps, the one you remember.
Nor is there one on the original, popular, 12" 78 disc  (16 November 1937).
We need someone with those rare 10'' 78s.
