Further to my email of June 11th:
The year was 1984. In addition to Emile Martyn on drums and Sammy
Rimmington Jnr. on clarinet, the Rising Sons included Finlay Milne on
trumpet, Robin Galloway on double bass and Alwyn Allsop on guitar and
banjo. The leader - and the only grown-up, was A.N. Other in trombone
(and occasionally on piano).
As mentioned in my original mail, two have become musicians; whatever
has become of the others?
Cheers
