This week's Riverwalk Jazz show is all about Jabbo Smith, the only
1920s trumpet player who was a serious contender to the crown worn by
Louis Armstrong. Vernel Bagneris wrote a part for him in his revue
"One Mo' Time," so they got to know each other. Vernel brings to life
Jabbo's words, and the JCJB plays selections of his unusual and highly
affecting compositions.

Stream it on demand at http://www.riverwalkjazz.org.
