Ramsey's Rifftides blog has brief obituary of Frank Foster and you tube
audio with photo of Basie . Band plays Foster's composition "Shiny
Stockings"  another video shows Frank Foster in wheelchair leading his big,
big band Loud Minority-I wasn't familiar with this group-playing to a packed
roomful of enthusiastic dancers.
