Mike Gourrier, a New Orleans native and Katrina refugee now working and
broadcasting in Richmond, VA sends this link to Wall Street Journal review
of "The Chitlin' Circuit."  It reviews the rough and tumble world of
segregated music/musicians.

Some nice photos as well.

 

Mike has been MC of the Satchmo Summerfest in New Orleans for the past
several years.  I look forward to seeing him again first weekend in August.
