[Dixielandjazz] Capitol Focus Youth Band in Madrid

Hi Jim,
 
Thanks for the post on Capitol Focus Youth Jazz Band getting to make a  
trip to Madrid and hand with Canal Street Jazz Band.  Has to have been a  great 
experience for them.  Brought back memories of getting to see them  take 
the stage for an hour in St. Louis last year.  As much I enjoyed your  videos 
I have to be an old lady about two things.  CFYJB:  1.   Knock it off on so 
much cowbell.  2.  Is it humanly possible to  convince any of today's young 
percussionists than an armada of drums and cymbals  in front of them is not 
a requirement for splendid percussion work?  The  last is a crack in general 
about what the world has come to.  Must be  some really terrific drum 
merchandisers in operation.  LOL.  There,  now I feel momentarily better.
