[Dixielandjazz] "Chipmunk" sound on YouTube

Hello all

I'm wondering if the "Chipmunk" effect that Jack W is experiencing is a 
true increase in speed or the effect one gets when one inadvertently 
double clicks the play icon on an internet source. A double click 
results in hearing the clip "double", the two playings being separated 
by a fraction of a second. Very strange indeed!
