[Dixielandjazz] just a question, help greatly appreciated

Hi Jack. The story in "The Jazz Age..." is that the clarinet player was
fooling around at the last rehearsal, played the gliss rather than the
written separate notes, and Challis or Whiteman liked it so much that the
score was changed.
