The players I have in the Colorado Nighthawks are 
SO GREAT,
they can play any style!!

Mark Raphael -- Trumpet & Cornet
Annie Lenoir -- Clarinet
Louis Wilson -- Trombone (she has her own website

Tim Zahn -- Piano
Mitch McDonald -- Tuba
Dave Deason -- Drums & Washboard
Rick Jolley -- Banjo

I do have a book of Lu Watters arrangements that I 
got along with the Anderson files.
But much of the time, we are working from head 
sheets, or Band-in-a-box charts

I handed out copies of CD's  (legal for 
educational purposes!) of the music I have cited.

And we play.  And the music is great.   Now... if 
we just had a PLACE to play!!

At any rate, I have to have a vision of what I 
want, and communicate that to the
players.   It's not that I'm dogmatic -- I just 
have to draw the line.
