THREE GUEST ARTISTS are bringing hot jazz and big laughs to Jazz Sunday, just one
day before Valentine's Day. Come celebrate with us! We'll also welcome two select
bands from Saturday's TJYBF (Trad. Jazz Youth Band Festival): The Jazzinators from
Fremont, CA, and High Altitude Dixieland Jazz Band from Gunnison, CO. February is
always energized by the TJYBF, so get ready to have a blast!

Thanks to the efforts of Yvonne Au, Dr. Steve Roach and their volunteers, the 6th
annual TJYBF is now bigger and better, and accomplishing the STJS mission of preserving
traditional jazz. Start with the Friday night Pre-Festival Jam Session led by Bob
Draga and other clinicians at Round Table Pizza (9138 Kiefer
 Blvd., Sac.) On Sat., enjoy a full day of youth band performances at  the TJYBF
starting at 8am on the
 Sac State campus (Capistrano Hall).
At 6 pm, the festival's Showcase and Awards will feature encore performances by
some of the best combos from the festival.
Then at 7pm, the  All-Star Clinicians Concert begins, featuring 2011 Guest  Clinician
Bria Skonberg with Bob Draga, Bill
Dendle, Eddie Erickson,  Jason Wanner, Lenny Pollacchi, and Ron Jones.
Full day and eve. = $10  advance / $12 at the door. Free for students (under 21).

Erickson at the Old Sugar Mill winery in Clarksburg, CA. Tickets are $25 from Patti
