Dear Marek:
The swing dance scent in NYC (and Philadelphia) is all ages. One of
the top dancers in NYC is Tommy Tucker, 77 years old and much loved by
the kids on the scene. Here in Philadelphia we have one swing dancing
couple where the guy is 80+ and wife is mid 70s. But the usual swing
dance scene in Philly is typified by the YouTube site just below the
blurb about us which was posted on Yehoodi.com Sound and Picture are
not so good, but you get the idea. VBG
The Barbone Street Jazz Band April 19th at Swing Kat
Hey Everyone
Here is something I promise... I will only ever post on this forum the
bands that I believe are worth traveling for.
With that said, I have skipped over our next band though I think they
are a great band. And even though they are costing us more than The
Barbone Street Jazz Band.
The Barbone Street Jazz Band has a nice old dixieland sound that you
will love. The guys are very much loved by our local Philly dance
scene. They are also very much worth coming to see! So, if you got the
time and money for gas, see you on April 19th!
