Thanks to Steve Barbone and Bob Ringwald for their very thoughtful comments about the changing of the name of the Sacramento Jazz Festival to the Sacramento Music Festival to better reflect what the festival has become.  They "get it" about what festivals need to be in this day and age.  Come next Memorial Day, the Sacramento Music Festival will once again present more traditional jazz and swing that a body can handle in four days...and probably more than any other festival in the country.  But there will be plenty of great music for fans of all persuasions to enjoy, and that's a good thing.  By the way, Bob Ringwald's Fulton Street Jazz Band will be swinging everybody into good health just as they have every year for the past 38 years.
