Sad News: GJB fan Bob Wheeler, wife of long time GJB fan Gayle Wheeler,
passed away on April 16th.   Bob and Gayle both ran the The Great CT Trad
Jazz
Fest Jazz Camp not too long ago.   Burial was private.   There will be a
memorial service, to be announced later.   Gayle's address is 203 King
Street,
East Hartford, CT 06108.

Two Fund Raisers (below) Saturday May 7th, Kentucky Derby Day, with Skip
Hughes and the GJB!

Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. It's Ron's Run for the Roses, with guest host

A New Orleans Jamboree, with the Galvanized Jazz Band!  Friday, May 13th,
7-9:30PM, Unitarian Society of New Haven, 700 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden,
featuring trombonist Ben Griffin and vocalist Cynthia Fabian!!   Tickets are
$15ea for adults, $5 for children, $40 family max, under 5 yrs free.   Free
child care and youth activities on site.   Light snacks and soft drinks are
free.   Beer and wine sold by the glass.   Table seating and large DANCE
FLOOR.
