Quite so, Bill - And I don't think Jack Parkes was actually sacked from the
Riverside JB that he formed, but he was quite happy for Keith Hounslow
(briefly) and Ian Burns to take over as leaders.
Also Duke Farrell was ejected from his own band The Illawarra Jazz Gang. He
formed another group which he called the Illawarra Jazz Group, but it didn't
go anywhere.
Must be a Sydney thing.
