Contrary to popular myth and the words in the movie that the movie
song is Deguello as supposed played by Santa Ana's band before the
final charge at the Alamo, it most certainly is NOT.
List mate Toitp Martino directed us to a you tube that is the CORRECT
Deguello. It is a trumpet call, not a song, and very different from
the Rio bravo piece. Your ears will tell you that if you listen to both.
The Rio Bravo SONG was composed by Dimitri Tiomkin for the movie The
Alamo and later modified by Enrico Morricone for the film Rio Bravo.
