Is the audience for jazz growing?

Arbors Records will be presenting a weekly jazz series at Feinstein's  
in the Loews Regency Hotel, 540 Park Avenue, NYC starting May 2, 2011  
continuing the first Monday of every month through year end, except  
that in July and September, it will be the second Monday because of  
July 4 and Labor Day holidays.

The basic band will be the Harry Allen Quartet. (Harry Allen, Rossano  
Sportiello, Joel Forbes and Chuck Riggs) with guest artists as noted  
below:

Dining and dancing from 7 to 8 PM. Concert following fro  8 to 10 PM.  
Music Charge $20.

May 2: Frank Wess, Joe Wilder, Norm Simmions, Harry Allen, Joel Forbes  
and Ed Metz Jr.

June 6 Harry Allen Quartet + Grant Stewart, Gary Smulyan & Eric  
Alexander. (Music of Woody Herman's Four Brothers)

July 11 Warren Vache joins the Quartet

August 1 Bucky Pizzarelli, Freddie Cole, Terell Stafford join the  
quartet.

September 12 Ken Peplowski, Houston Person, Larry Fuller Harry Allen  
Joel Forbes and Chuck Riggs

October 3  Lynn Roberts, Rebecca Kilgore, Nikki Parrott, Dan Barrett  
Mike Renzi Harry Allen Joel Forbes, Chuck Riggs

November 7 Brazilian Music;  Maucha Adner (V) and Duduka DeFonseca  
dms) (both with Jobim for 10 years) join the Quartet.

December 5 Christmas jazz with John Sheridan, Rebecca Kilgore, Jon  
Erik Kellso, Rande Sanke, John Allred, Tom Artin, Dan Block, Scott  
Robinson, James Chirillo join the Quartet.
