[Dixielandjazz] Jazz anthology

Oh, memories!
That set gave me my first chance to actually hear Lu Watters and many
other musicians who had hereto been just names, or of wom I hade never
heard before.  Previously, I knew much more modern than traditional
musicians, and listened to modern more than traditional - just because
there were more modern than traditional records at the USIS library
and more "contemporary" music was played on the radio.
BTW, shortly after my arrival in Israel I could not afford records -
American imports cost nearly 10% of slary here - so I borrowed them
from the library.  Luckily, it had quite a few traditional records as
well, and those drew me more and more towards traditional jazz - I
found "modern" progressively boring.
