Steve;

Joe Rushton plays bass sax with the Goodman band which also included Lee
Castaldo, Ray Linn, Bobby Guyer (tps), Miff Mole, Charlie Castaldo
(tbns),Hymie Schertzer, Leonard Kaye (as), Jon Walton, Bob Taylor (ts), Jess
Stacy (p), Bart Roth (g), Gus Van Comp (b), Louis Bellson (dr). Contrary to
what the YouTube comment says, this movie made and released in 1943. The
music was filmed in March and April 1943. Oddly, although Bobby Guyer is
seen on screen, Eddie Miller played all the tenor sax solos. This
information from "BG On The Record" by D. Russell Connor and Warren W.
Hicks.

The band setup was probably done at the behest of the director of the film -
Busby Berkely.

Lee Castaldo was also known as Lee Castle.
