Certainly no doubt at all.  "Rock my soul" surely is something different.
Seems as though Joe Watkins'  vocal on the George Lewis version of "Ice Cream"
also uses "rock".  As a verb, perhaps multiple meanings to suit the context.
A highly stimulating activity of whatever?
