Understand what you are saying. My personal preference is music that I can
listen to with my feet.
Going to decades, How many 1000's of recordings were made in the 20's (jazz
age) that we still listen too?
I was a teen in the 60's and thought there was so much music. How much of it
do I enjoy now, not very much.
As with anything, the good will endure.
I have a 24 yr old son who appreciates music from Louis Armstrong, Jerry Lee
Lewis through to Hip Hop and Krap. What will he be liking in 20 years time?
Probably still Armstong et al, some 50/60s rock etc. and the occassional
music that his now his age groups likes. The good will last and the rest
will "wither on the vine".
May we all enjoy good music and remember that we all have different tastes
(even in OKOM).
