This is related, but does not answer your query.

What is cool is that the people who publish the legal version of Real
Book, volumes 1 and 2 , is that they have produced a set of background
track Cds to go along with the songs in the books. I have bought the
set for volume 1 at $100-$125, which consists of 12 Cds. (you must
previously have purchased the books separately)

Not all of the songs are on the Cds, but 90% are. The tracks are
exceptionally well-recorded. So well in fact that a soloist could
probably use them ( I know that you don't want to hear this) as their
back-up band. ( .... and I can see just see you with your banjo as a
solo act playing beebop. Now there's a concept!!)

They are providing me a whole new experience of learning to move
through the more complicated chord changes found in the "standards" of
the Real Book, and are moving me into the realm of being able to play
with those people who use the Real Book at gigs.

When asked what I think about them, I say that I like set 1 so much
that I will be purchasing set 2.

Wrapping my brain around around all these new progressions is tough,
but slowly it is actually sinking in and I'm beginning to get new
perspectives on soloing, and I'm 66.

I tag my emails:
Duct tape is like the force, it has a light side and a dark side and it
holds the universe together.

Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.
