Hi Steve,

Good to see the long-legged myth shot down. However, prior to Alan Jaffe 
arriving on the scene Ken Mills. Bill Edmiston  and Barbara Reid ran the 
Hall in its first incarnation as Preservation Hall in 1961. The whole story 
and more may be found in William Carter's excellent book Preservation Hall.
