Welcome back
For what it's worth (possibly nothing), based upon the previous experience
I've had with Hotmail, along with Netzero, Juno, and Yahoo, I would strongly
recommend that you set up a Gmail address, as I have found it far superior
to any of the former.
You of course, need not eliminate your Hotmail address, particularly if you
have accumulated folders there (as I still have with Yahoo). It's not
really that big a deal to simply forward something from your currently
active address if it is something you consider worth saving.
I still maintain the very first address I had with Juno but solely for the
purpose of receiving order & shipping info retated to online purchases, but
not for outgoing messages.
The fringe benefit here is that when things are slow and you're not getting
any interesting e-mails, from DJML or elsewhere, you can just e-mail back
and forth with yourself
