An advantage of the cassette deck is that an inexpensive cassette adapter
can be plugged in to allow you to play an MP3 player through the radio.
Therefore, in addition to listening to your old cassettes (for me that means
many), you can listen to CDs (via separate player) in addition to the MP3
player. This means you can travel the country listening to OKOM and only
tune the radio when you want a weather report or the news.

BTW if you want a great internet radio program to listen to old and new
OKOM, try Andy Senior's Radiola Show. It is available for download by
registering with him or by subscribing to Live365. The download has the
advantage of being directly playable on your MP3 player. Andy does a very
entertaining commentary along with an wide range of OKOM bands and styles.
He and his wife, Sue, attend many of the East coast festivals and bands and
also includes their recordings in his show.
