Glen Page asked if cassette players were available for autos these days.

I don't think many cars come with them these days Glen, but  
aftermarket models are readily available. Go to : http://www.bizrate.com/car-cassette-players/ 
   to see a large selection. No doubt a google search of <Automobile  
Cassette Players> will turn up many more sources, models.

I guess any competent automotive electrician could install one if you  
are like me, technically challenged.
