Bob Nabors did his first Vintage Jazz fakebook by hand. While it had
some departures from original chords, it was comprehensive, and widely
copied and distributed throughout the Northern California OKOM jazz
community.

He quit publishing it for a while, then started redoing it using the
Finale scoring program. The result, which included lyrics, improved
chords, and a lot of tunes not in the original, is a nice fakebook and
he was selling it for fifty dollars at the time he moved to Chicago.

The last I heard he was having serious health problems. I hope he is
doing well. He's a great guy and a very good trumpeter. An asset on any
bandstand.

Sheik's $20 offer is a bargain. Grab it!
