[Dixielandjazz] OT-Bing Crosby, Frances Langford?

[Jack Mitchell]

Bob Hope and Frances Langford (with Jerry Colonna) visited Australia and New 
Guinea during WW2 as part of an entertainment unit tour for the troops. 
Others who turned up were Gary Cooper, Joe E. Brown, Jack Benny and Carole 
Landis. I assume these (and others) were organised by the US government or 
part thereof.
