I respectively disagree with you 100% I'm am not at all disappointed in
Bria¹s newest CD Fresh! It¹s inspiring to hear her play and sing, to venture
out and play other styles of jazz. I have known Bria for a few years now,
and she's growing musically both instrumentally, and vocally by leaps and
bounds. Getting better and better every time I see and hear her. Bria has no
problem playing traditional jazz, and loves it, she has great love and
respect for this music, but as a young inspiring professional musician, she
is smart and talented enough to venture out into other, more modern, and
sophisticated styles of jazz both instrumentally, and vocally, not easily
achieved by most.
Bria Skonberg is a bright beautiful and very talented young lady trying her
best to make it in the professional world of music and entertainment, and
she is smart enough to know that you have to be able to cover more then one
style of music. Her Latest CD Fresh is exactly what the title implies
'FRESH' it's done very very well, and offers many different styles for
everyone, she should be very proud of it. I'm also certain the total
package was quite costly, and she should be commended for, not only her
stellar performance, but also for having the initiative for actually going
ahead, and actually making it especially in today's economy. A lot of great
young talent has come out of Canada in the past few years, and if there is
any justice, Bria will also be in their company. This young lady is 1st.
Class all the way, and her music and presentation reflects that, and she
should be encouraged by all.
I encourage everyone to go out and purchase a copy of her newest CD 'FRESH'
As my good friend and 'Great Jazz Trombonist' Bill Allred has said so many
times.... I've never seen a statue of a Jazz Critic yet!
Sincerely,

I have never been so disappointed with a purchase.

Many of the cuts are simply annoying to listen to.
