[Dixielandjazz] Jazz is Dead?

On February 3, 2010 the Sydney Morning Herald had an article THE JAZZ SWING 
IS ON starting with:

"Five jazz filled music festivals within a month, an underground jazz haunt 
opening its doors with live music six nights a week and musicians saying 
that easier licensing laws are resulting in more gigs.

>From all the signs jazz is on the rise in Sydney".

There was much more, but you get the idea. Although most (OK, all) the 
musicians named don't play OKOM any increase in jazz of any sort opens the 
way for more and more bands and styles.
