True story:  Retired ophthalmic surgeon and banjoist moved to  mainland 
many years ago from Hawaii.  No one could figure out how to  pronounce his name 
which was Ogawa.  So he changed it to made-up  Irish, O'Gawa.  Problem 
solved.
