Dear Marvin,
That claim is a new one to me.
"Is This Gonna Be My Lucky Summer?
or perhaps
"Who'll Be The One This Summer?"
Both Clambake 7 sides from 12 June 1937.
TD on trumpet is not mentioned in my Rusts or other discographies, that I could find.
A listen to both titles gives him plenty of trombone space, but not on trumpet to my ears.
And thank you for diplomatically indicating that I had accidentally (in my hasty 'cut and paste') left out "Hot Heels" from the Eddie Lang "Bugle Call Rag" session.
Off-list, Harry Callaghan also took me to task, as he should, regarding my throwaway comment about TD's "kid-brother".
Silly me.
It is, of course, the other way round.
Very kind regards,
Bill.
