When I post something here on the DJML list, I never consider it as being
addressed to anyone in particular as I think we have a pretty free-for-all
environment here.where everyone can join in with whatever they might have to
contribute on a given subject.

However, according to the information available to me, it was Ralph Sutton
who passed away in 2001 whereas , to the best of my knowledge Ralph Sharon
is still alive.

I came across an LP recently that has been in my collection from the 1950s
that was recorded by former Kenton vocalist Chris Connor and happened to
notice that one of the selections on it was "In Other Words".

Looking a little further, I observed that Ralph Sharon was among the
musicians that was backing her.  I have often wondered if he was the one
responsible for the song later being retitled "Fly Me to the Moon" which was
of course recorded by Tony Bennett, perhaps at his suggestion.

Of course, I don't stay awake nights pondering upon items such as this, but
it is enough to at least make one curious.
